i can sense that i’m going to fall in love with this book. it’s great so far and i really enjoy stories that center women who learn they are MORE than just what’s happened to them. (something to discuss w a therapist maybe) but ive already read a few lines that hit me hard emotionally so. best of luck to my mental state tonight when i inevitably binge.

the writing is good but i struggle soooo much with this kind of YA— aka the kind of story where the main character clearly is completely mistaken about the world around her and you’re forced to live in her misguided mind. i like the characters but gahhh i hate feeling smarter than the characters im reading about

i am not much of a hockey romance girl tbh but i remember reading another one of hers in this series and it was sooo fun and well constructed so hoping this one gives me the jolt i need!!
