Something about starting a book with a map makes me immediately not want to read it. And I love fantasy, how does that even make sense

I can’t even slog through this intro, dnf :/

I had to restart this book today because I wasn’t in a mental space for something so involving, but I am HOOKED. I love the artificial persons, all of the different characters, the tree orbs (wtf even are they, can’t wait to find out), and of course Grimm :)

Ugh the pit in my stomach when Gary agrees to pilfer something and the subsequent tamale scene. Brandon, you’re killing me!

Dnf, this feels like something I would need a LOT more time than a library checkout allows

I don’t think I can read anymore of this >_<

This is not holding my interest whatsoever and the chapters are like 1-3 pages each. DNF
