All I wanna do is read this book even when Chris is venturing into uneasy territory

Endlessly fascinated by Chris's ability to create characters that are 1:1 avatars of both the people in her life and herself. But we have hit the infamous Landlord Chapter and we shall see how that holds up

This can be aggravating at times to read but I really loved seeing Lindy West at the WBUR Festival and enjoyed "Shrill" back when it first came out so I'm sticking with it... it's interesting because I find the writing frustrating in ways I did not expect but I'll save it for the full review

Was ambivalent leaning towards negative about this book and then Everything Changed and I'm obsessed with it

whew this is such a slog. what happened!!!!!

afraid I waited way too long to read this and so I built up an idea of what this book would be like in my head over the past few years that unfortunately isn't living up to my expectations but it's still an interesting read so far
