Chapter 11.

An ok read with a good number of poems from various writers. It seems to focus pretty heavily on various monotheisms and clearly has 70s new age vibes. There are better poetry collections out there though.

So far it's very good, though I think Jija has been described as both a Resistant and an Innovator, unless I'm missing something. So I'm a bit confused about that.

Sowell claims that family and domestic obligations might explain gender pay gaps in jobs like nuclear submarine officer (because knowledge advances rapidly) despite the fact that women couldn't serve on nuclear subs until 3 years after the book was first published. Maybe not as well researched as claimed.

Sowell's initial idea that government involvement is inefficient because it restricts the range of mutually acceptable terms for agreements between two people is true if you grant the following assumptions: government has no legitimate interest in these agreements, people are perfectly rational actors with near perfect information, and individuals have equal bargaining power.

So far the information is good but the writing style is terrible. Spelling and grammar errors plus a lack of focus is making it difficult to retain information.
