I am not sure how I feel about the fact that Floralinda thinks that Briar Rose just laid down and went to sleep as it forgets the, err, tragedy that occurs during said sleep. I truly hope the Briar Rose of Floralinda’s stories doesn’t share the same fate as ours.

If you loved the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series (especially Dreams of Gods & Monsters) you will ADORE this book.

I have only know her for a few pages but I desperately need Liette to be my friend. We would get along smashingly.

I was promised a quest. Why don’t I have a quest? 🙄

But other then that I am definitely enjoying it. I love how it is currently suspended at the precipice of creepy. I am waiting for it to drop and be back at Crimson Peak again.

I don’t under why Jane is so against physical intimacy in this relationship but CONSTANTLY brings us consummating their marriage. Like if they don’t want to (as is the case of Augustine I feel), they don’t have to. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And it just makes this awkward mood between Jane, Augustine, and the reader.

Don’t read this book while eating. 🤢

I must say that I am enjoying Dior’s character arc.

Caroline is the most idiotic character...

The best part of this book was Zahru getting hustled by a mouse.

At first, I was shocked that Tartt would not hid the death of a certain character. Now, I understand that she did jt to tell the reader that this character is going to get what he deserves and to not through the book across the room just yet. To be honest, I’m eagerly awaiting it.

I love how Tartt just casually drops that one of the characters dies.

I am seriously enjoying Kira’s character arc! I love it when you can see characters grows.

I feel like Will is using Thea. Though to be honest it seems that everyone is.

I am doing this. I hope that Paolini has improved his writing since Eldest.

This is going to be delightful. Hen and Maia (Spin the Dawn) should get together to discuss crafting gowns out of impossible materials. That would also be a delight to read.
