I don’t under why Jane is so against physical intimacy in this relationship but CONSTANTLY brings us consummating their marriage. Like if they don’t want to (as is the case of Augustine I feel), they don’t have to. 🤦🏻♀️ And it just makes this awkward mood between Jane, Augustine, and the reader.

But other then that I am definitely enjoying it. I love how it is currently suspended at the precipice of creepy. I am waiting for it to drop and be back at Crimson Peak again.
