I get it now, why a lot of people dislike this book. I’m just going to power through the last part so that it can just be over and done with 😒

Honestly, if Jack didn’t have bad luck he’d have no luck at all. From Farren and Osmond right into the path of that dick, Smokey. Jeez 🤦🏻‍♀️

God, poor kid. Between Capt. Farren and Osmond he’s had a shit of a day.

Enjoying it so far... Jack and Speedy have the beginnings of one of Kings fav. tropes, the old man and boy friendship. Lily and Sloat are both equally unlikeable in their own ways.

So far its been engaging, informative and entertaining. A little bit TMI in some places, but nothing that has been off putting.

Forgot this was on my currently reading list. Still enjoying it.

this was a DNF. only got part way through the third book before I knew I just wasn't interested enough to finish

just an average paranormal romance. only reading cause I started it....

Brings back fond memories of the TV series. I can just hear their voices as I read the dialogue 🥰

Just finished introduction, and it was very illuminating. Now, on to the story…

I forgot this book was even in my currently reading. I have put it aside, and will pick it up later (and it's been languishing in the 'currently reading' wasteland for ages now).

Not that far into the book, but I already have some characters I'd like to give a swift kick in the butt to.

4 hours in, and this genius NSA agent let a hacker into her friends system - ya know, to test him - and didn’t think he’d do more than find the info she’d ask for?! Lexi is such a dingus. If the author didn’t say she’s 24 I’d put her at 13-15 due to her giggling, blushing and idiotic behaviour. Ugh 😑

Seriously!? Lexi’s taking underwear advice from THIS sales lady! Puhlease, spare me 🤦🏻‍♀️

Chapter 4 seems to have no end 😤

Currently listening to Chapter 4, and honestly, Lexi is driving me nuts! She has a degree in both mathematics and computer science, but she has no idea what the Zimmerman twins are doing while trying to hack into a company. At least Stephanie Plum had a reason for being incompetent as a bounty hunter, Lexi does not…. grrrr! 😑

Had a power outage this morning, so after procrastinating for an hour, I finally got stuck into the book. Had to reread the prologue and the first chapter again, but I’m hopeful I’ll enjoy this.

Still planning on reading this. Just haven’t gotten back to it.

Reading in fits and starts. Haven’t gotten much read today, but the next chapter is called ‘The Vendetta’ so, I’m hopeful the pace, and action, will pick up.

Yes, I picked this back up again... after a six month long break. Story going along quickly. Albert has brought the Count home and he just met Albert’s mother. Things are getting interesting.
