Okay, I’m not mad about the vignettes where we see the awful people Jack encountered on his quest get their just desserts 🤔😉

Has improved, but still not holding my breath that I will like this by the end

I get it now, why a lot of people dislike this book. I’m just going to power through the last part so that it can just be over and done with 😒

I had to stop for the night, but Jack can’t catch a frickin’ break. He seems to find one abusive and traumatic situation after another… and poor Wolf 🐺

Honestly, if Jack didn’t have bad luck he’d have no luck at all. From Farren and Osmond right into the path of that dick, Smokey. Jeez 🤦🏻‍♀️

God, poor kid. Between Capt. Farren and Osmond he’s had a shit of a day.

Enjoying it so far... Jack and Speedy have the beginnings of one of Kings fav. tropes, the old man and boy friendship. Lily and Sloat are both equally unlikeable in their own ways.
