This is SO good.

I'm considering DNFing. I don't like the MC. And there isn't any character depth.

The romance isn't here at all. Lost of sex but nothing else. My conclusion is that Vanya is and idiot and I don't think I can make myself finish this.

Gasp! Kings bad? He had a fit about staying safe because he wanted to visit friends but they'd already discussed how it wasn't safe and that they didn't know who was King's ally. They have to keep telling him how dangerous King is and he keeps acting like its news every single time.

There are so many discrepancies with Vanya. Many chapters before this one he's told King killed those who came before him and now he finds out a boy was there before him and he's surprised?

There is no world building so far. What are masters and why do they control the city. How does the society work and why doesn't he have control of his house? Nothing makes sense. Nothing is explained. He's all trembly and I don't even know why to even commiserate with him.

I feel kind of bad because this took me so long to read. Overly, needlessly angsty that ran over into boredom for me. Loved how it started out but as soon as he was washed overboard, the continuous miscommunication that didn't need to happen. Lordy. I'm just glad it's over

Huh. Someone gets beaten at a crime scene and a report is not filed, the police don't ask any questions-even to keep up a pretense, and you just take your guy home. No emotion or anger, just leave the scene with do thing, doing nothing. Why? No one in their right mind would do that.
