Actually I’m past quarter of the book and I still have no clue how the characters know each other or how they came together...you just start reading that they know each other!

I'm listening to the audio ebook of this novel. We don't know where is this country but it's somewhere in Europe...the accents however are from all over that continent!
Like the kid in the hospital and his family sounded like cockney accent...the king has neutral english to british accent....the H has more british accent....his aunt and her husband has Scandinavian accents 😁

So much of this is details of backstory! Get to the actual plot already! I really don’t care that much about the festival or the bars!

So far it's just the h and her friends and her grandmother gossiping and talking about their relationships and the business....they talked about her friends more than her!
This is starting to feel like a DNF book!

Is it me or is there a lot of talk about food and drinks in this book? I would really hate for this to become a theme throughout the book just because the heroin and her closest friends are plus size gals who seem to have discussions all with, around or about food!

It’s so damn irritating when an author writes about kids when you feel they NEVER met one before! This kid is supposed be 3 but talks, acts and think as a 10’year old boy who knows it all!!!! Serious what 3 year old boy talks BIG conversations like this?! Big eye roll
