I am FINALLY getting in to this book. Geeze it took a long time. Mr Darcy just asked Elizabeth to take his hand and she refused. All of a sudden it got interesting!

This is different than the other Sedaris books I've read as they are not about him. Im stikll in the Stories section....he has a wicked creative story telling mind and he sure knows how to subtley pick on so called white trash.

Im not sure why I bought this as i am not a fan of such books on musicians. I have bought many over the years....CSN...Dylan...Madonna...but I never manage to make it thru them. I prefer biographies. I really like these 3 woman however so Im giving it a go. Its very interesting how these 3 lifes intertwine in a wierd kinda way. Lets see if I make it all the way thru!

Made it thru the first section. Learned a lot including the differences between Tibetian (which I practice) and Zen Buddhism. Lots of history in this section.

This book is very auto biographical which I love. It starts off as a twenty year old hippie traveling Europe/Asia. The second chapter gets into his introduction to Buddhism. It's VERY interesting learning the detailed steps it takes to become a full on Tibetian Buddhist Monk. I'm leaarning a lot but have only just begun.
