Great Reference and Informative!

Love this study! We are in our 6th and last week with our group. Such good insights, relatable experiences and actual guidelines to follow to put these practices into use. Lysa Terkeurst’s positive approach supported by deep biblical and therapy based discussion in the linked videos help pull this all together in a very approachable way. We get to polish the tools provided too, via our study group as well. So good!

We read this book in a study group. We met weekly
over 2 chapters. Though written in 1992, the book is still applicable today & tomorrow. Following Paul’s example in his letters in Philippians & throughout the Bible, we find outrageous joy & laugh again! The personal stories, poems & many references help remind the reader not to take life too seriously; keep life, God & all things thankful on the forefront!

Learning about the mystery of angels from a biblical standpoint and in a study group of amazing women... The book is awesome so far!

Dr. Evans teaches us how to be more like Jesus here on earth through unity, love, kindness, encouragement, restoration and serving one another. This study came to me in His perfect timing as our world is being challenged more by effects from terrorism and police brutality after protests in multiple states. We need more vertical Jesus practice!

Enjoying this study and the group. In His perfect timing with the current tragedies in Dallas last week and our nation recently. Love one another, forgive, listen and care. "The choice hinges on whether you believe God’s Word that if you give, it will be given to you (see Luke 6:38). Oh, and trust me. It works."
