I was so excited to get back to BDB. I'm only 20% in, but I can't tell how I feel yet. I don't know if it's because there is SO much going on, or if it's because I am (so far) just not feeling connected to Trez. I like the Xcor/Layla storyline a bit more. I'm anxious to see where this is going, and excited to see what's in store for the rest of the BDB. Also, I get the lessers are a large part of BDB, but just ugh.

I've read some reviews and it looks like we are in for another roller coaster ride filled with plenty of Eva's insecurities. Let's hope it isn't too much emotional angst. I'm just getting over the drama in the first book.
