Ariel Lynn is starting Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
I had started "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul" last night, but realized it's TECHNICALLY the sequel to "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency." Fortunately, I had this on my shelf and just moved it to my nightstand where the next lucky books to be read go. I'm just going to bump the sequel down to the bottom of the nightstand stack. :-)

TOOK A BREAK TO READ ARC OF A FRIEND'S BOOKS; ALSO, READING THIS SERIES DURING A PANDEMIC IS TOO CLOSE TO READING THE NEWSPAPER!

Ariel Lynn is on page 926 of 1384 of The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset (Hunger Games, #1-3)
FINISHED SECOND BOOK, STOPPING TO READ ARCS (also because it's currently dystopian enough for me right outside my window, I don't need to imagine it lol)

Finished book one, The Hunger Games, & decided to move straight through the trilogy. Part of me wants to dislike it because of how popular it was!

Ariel Lynn is on page 267 of 520 of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
This is page 52 of "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" because the editor separated this single book into the two separate stories. I had to use a calculator to figure out the page number goodreads wanted. LOL

Ariel Lynn is on page 324 of 713 of Shakespeare: An Oxford Guide
I've reached the "criticism" section of this book. I'm hoping it gives a variety of opinions & readings of Shakespeare's work, as it appeared when I read the table of contents!

Maybe I should've read this before I read The Complete Works of Shakespeare. According to the table of contents, it covers a wide range of critical approaches to reading the Bard's work. I can't wait to dive into it!

Ariel Lynn is on page 42 of 144 of Delavier's Stretching Anatomy
I started reading this before I finished The Complete Works of Shakespeare. It was a birthday present & not what I planned to read next. To be honest, my brain needs a break after all that Shakespeare talk! LOL

Currently, I'm reading "Titus Andronicus." I've hit bit of a stall & I haven't really felt like reading this book for about a month. I've *got* to get back on track!!!

I've hit the historical plays. I'll admit, they're less boring than I remember.

Ariel Lynn is starting The Complete Works
Apparently, I already started reading this book once before, because I found a bunch of quotations copied on scraps of papers inside the front cover. It must have been a looooong time ago, because I don't remember doing it!

Thinking back, I probably hit the "Histories" & got bored. LOL

A wonderful gift from a wonderful woman. I really like it so far; it's funny &, at the same time, has great depth that touches on the human experience (esp this human's experience lol)

I'm making notes on a post-it to make sure my review contains the thoughts I have as I'm reading; this might be a good system to explore for future books. :-)

I feel bad for how much I'm enjoying this book, considering how disgusting our generation (obviously) finds the acts described. However, I really feel like I need both an English & French dictionary to grasp every nuance in the text.
