so far, this book is amazing! I already got my money's worth....

finished book 1. think this is great stuff.

Part of the reason that my science fiction reading has declined in the last couple of years is because I've been devoting a lot of time trying to learn the Polish Language.

My goal is to eventually read War of the Worlds in Polish but I will be reading along in English to aid me in doing this.

The whole project could take me a couple of years. I have to look up a LOT of words. But, hey, how else do you learn?

Having read only the intro, didn't really get this far. Am skipping to the title story. If that's no good, I'll skip the 1st story.

Have now read 10 chapters and, so far, this book is not really very good.
