This was an inspirational read. I heard the words in Tab's voice. It made me laugh. It made me tear up. It made me sit in my thoughts. It may me gain clarity on things that have happened in my own life.

I loved the book. This is only the fourth audio book that I listened to. I could truly visualize the author's words. The ending of the book was definitely a surprise. I didn't see it coming. The way you live is often the way that you die.

Charisse Williams is finished with I Have Always Been Me: A Memoir
This was a perfect memoir to tell the story of a person living in her truth fighting for acceptance every step of the way. Every warrior has battle wounds. Some of them are not visible to the naked eye. She found family, community and a sense of purpose.

Charisse Williams is finished with Educated
The story was alarming. The book was hard to pick up and even harder to put down. The paraphrases and memories made it hard to determine how much of this memoir was the truth. We see stories everyday where someone is able to overcome his or her circumstances and environment. Tara Westover was able to do just that and I would not wish the abuse and bullying on my worst enemy. She was saved.

Charisse Williams is finished with Darkness to Light: A Memoir
This was a remarkable read. It would be an understatement to state life failed Lamar. He was handed a raw deal. The odds were against him. Basketball was his lifeline until it wasn't. I felt the pain. It took him hitting rock bottom and a near death experience to realize he had so much to live for.

It took a little time for me to get into the book. The author takes you inside the mind of a being consumed by his hatred of the President. It's worth reading.

Charisse Williams is finished with WOMAN UP!: Loving Yourself Enough To Be Accountable...
It took me a little time to get into the book and it did not disappoint. It's not for the weak. It is an eye opener. Readers will definitely walk away knowing what they want and what they won't stand for in their personal relationships. I loved how the writer spoke from experience and shared the opinions of his fans.
