Sally is beginning to get back on track to fixing what has been done. She gets ahold of someone from Hero Haven Lady Serephina from Glass castle who shows her a few of her possible futures also Luna and Scorch get a glimpse of their possible futures. It's not until Sally is ready to fix things. She misses Jack and she wouldn't be the Pumpkin Queen if she didn't fix things for her town. A sacrifice she needs to make.

It begins with a dragon and a trip into another town called Fable Town. In this place, the dragon isn't a villain, as heard of in many other stories where a dragon is slayed, but here the dragon is nice his name is Scorch. In one part of this town is a village called Villian Village, where Sally is amazed and intrigued as it feels like a little Halloween Town and the people there know of Halloween Town.

Sally is now eager to move things forward after what just happened she and Luna are in Halloween Town before it ever really grew to be a community. The time clock for Halloween Town has fallen to the floor, but it wasn't her she witnessed it falling. She has to fix this she goes to one of the only people she knows at the moment but Ruby has no idea until Sally has an idea something she thought of when she was young.

Now it's getting really interesting. The event of the last chapter may have turned their experiment of a spell on its head. I think the time piece that fell on the floor turned their destination around, not only getting them to where they wanted to go but back in time when Halloween Town wasn't quite established yet. They were there but not there. The holiday doors were not even really made yet. What happened?

Finally this book is picking up again. Sally is really pushing to get back to Halloween Town getting the ingredients to make the portal thing happen again. She has a potion she wanted to try ever since she lived with Dr. Finklestein but never got the chance. She finds a fountain in Time Town to mix the ingredients and is ready to go back with Luna. It's time they got back Jack and everyone are worried now she sees.

This is one of the slowest chapters so far lots of world building into time town and not knowing what happened as Luna mixed the ingredients that sort of made a portal into Time Town though its been known to be a thing that has happened in the past. It's time they figure out who is waiting for them.

Wow that was an interesting turn of events they finally get ready for the annual Halloween Exibitition and a few of them demonstrate something on stage at the town hall. It's not until Luna goes up that things go horribly wrong she was mixing ingredients when she has an ingredient that was not meant to be in the act. Where it came from or if she got it mixed up nobody knows but it starts up a vortex in the building.

After that, Sally and Luna got working on potions and things, and they were getting this ready to help fix their problem with the pumpkins, and they got to spend time with each other bonding Sally was curious that this is what it must be like to have a sister. Sally told her about all that had happened to her before, how she didn't feel she belonged anywhere and Luna told her maybe because she belonged everywhere.

There is a little problem that comes up as Halloween is just days away, and with all the townspeople coming from different places. One inparticular person from Thanksgiving Town has used all the pumpkins from Halloween Town for pumpkin pie for everyone in town. He was trying to do something nice. Jack was about to settle this as Sally said she would cast a spell that would make more pumpkins grow in days.

Jack and Sally finally go into Dream Town and meet with Sally's parents for their first anniversary dinner they talk about a lot of things how having the all holiday meet up helped bring all the holiday residents together and so they could all discover the towns on their own and travel as they wanted. Luna was Sally's parents helper she was asked by Sally to come and help her in Halloween Town. She agreed to go.

This part leaves off right where book 1 ended getting back at Dr. Finklestein why he did what he did. It wasn't fair to Sally. He took her whole life from her thinking she was just a slave to him. That she was created and not born to parents. When she sees him again in Dream Town, he still sees her as worthless as she will forever be lost she was so angry when he mentioned that she was now the Pumpkin Queen.

It's nice to see Jack awake again together with Sally, spending time together walking into Sally's birth place, Dream Town. This time, they are going to see her parents for an anniversary dinner of their first year of marriage together. Near the end of the chapter Sally sees someone guarding the sheep making sure they are going where they need to go, but she thought this nightmare was over after seeing who it was.

So excited for book 2 its already mentioning a few more Towns that were not mentioned in the last one Tooth Town, Weather Town, and Music Town. I cant wait to see where this book goes also its written by a different author.

There were more doors ancient doors that were covered up all this time. Father Time, Old Man Winter,The Tooth Fairy. Now Jack and Sally were together and happy slipping through different door ways more lands to see and more to discover, more adventures to be had. They were off on their next adventure.

Wow what an ending they all make Halloween Town the headquarters of the realm of the other holidays Sally opened an bed and breakfast and a café the trees were fixed and even in Dream Town. They all now travel to the different Town making thing for Halloween Town and they all now work as a community. As they looked at the Dream Town door there was something very interesting there was more to uncover...

Jack finally sentences Dr. Finklestein for doing what he did all those years ago giving Sally forgetting potion. Making her forget where she came from. Now he is to do community service for 100 years in Dream Town. He also will give Sally access to all the potions so she can do experiments till the end of time. They go through all the towns together to see if everyone is awake they were all making up for lost time.

It turns out he needed a nap to dream his own dreams and all the darkness went away from his face as he starts talking normal as he looks at Sally's parents and remembers them. Jack says that he owes everyone an apology that Sally went through this on her own try to bring him down. She is the reason they are all awake now. The Sandman is saddened and gives Sally a walk hug. She is shocked by this.

Wow that was interesting, Dr. Finklestein is also there and Jack is not happy with him as Sally let him know that he stole her all those years ago. She wasnt created in his lab. They all decide what to do with the Sandman as he starts to awaken as they all come together, and Jack introduces Sally's parents to everyone as Dream Town's governors. As he wakes up, the Sandman isnt the same person Sally saw before...

Jack was happy to finally meet them. Jack wanted to see the queen she had met in the Human Town how elegant she was that he wanted to make sure she was awake as well.

They went together far from town to get away to the trees and to the mauselium that was the only doorway that could take them to Dream Town. As Sally tried to open the door it seemed to be opening to her and 2 figures start to walk through her parents she was confused as her parents changed their mind about taking the door down after she left. They knew she could turn this all around...

She tells him all that has happened since he and the others have been asleep. How she went through all the doors looking for someone who was awake and about the Sandman who she let out of Dream Town, and everyone she met. He is excited that she saw all of the holiday towns that he wanted to go see the special door where she was from. She said he couldn't that the doors were taken down. None of that mattered now.

As soon as the Sandman fell asleep, people were finally waking up in Halloween Town. First the witches then the vampires then everyone else. But Jack thats when Sally ran home to see if he was awake. When she gets there he is still asleep as she calls to him he starts waking slowly and she is overjoyed he finally wakes up. Zero is happy as well...

She said I am The Pumpkin Queen. It was time to end him. She makes a potion to put the Sandman to sleep her idea is to throw it into the fountain and make sure he falls in it. It's the same color as the pond. With Zero's help that happens. He seems to come up she thought it didn't work when all of a sudden he starts to fall asleep, and a couple of seconds later, he falls asleep. It worked.

Sally finally has an idea to make decoys of herself to trick the Sandman to stay away from her but at the same time not know which one could be her she's back in Halloween Town. As he comes closer to going through the decoys, he finally gets to her and blows the sand on her, but it doesn't work. He is in confusion. Maybe she is truly from Dreamland, she thought. That's when she gets the power in her to rise up...

Now this is an interesting twist she sees that the Sandman has also been in the human world, and now she is in the library of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. She wants to ask her what it's like to be a queen and if she realized that she met the Pumpkin Queen. She walks out of the library after all this time to see the human world on her way finally finds a mauselium in a cemetery that leads her home back to Halloween Town.

She has an idea of using potions to get rid of the Sandman as sand will not work on him. The world she is going to is the human world her parents are sad about this but she has a thought now that maybe her parents will get rid of this door way once and for all once she goes through it. They didn't want her to go in the first place but now she had to go. She had to try and save Jack and the others.

She makes her way out of the house and back to the trees, and when she gets there, she is saddened all the trees are on the ground now. No more magic in them. She opens the one with the pumpkin. There is nothing but the back of the hollowed out tree. It's all gone. She can't get back this way. Her parents let her know of another way inside a library in Dream Town because they now realize she could be onto something.

So much is happening all at once Sally being locked in her childhood room is sad by the parents that once loved her as a child have betrayed her and now the one person who guided her to the house of the governor is back he hears Sally after she sees him through the window. He comes in the house and lets her out. Her parents lied to her and went to the woods and destroyed the trees to other worlds. Her only way back.

Now that The Sandman was in Halloween Town they had to keep the sand away from him and keep him away from Dream Town. The residents didn't even want him there in the first place. Now Sally was remembering her old life as a kid as she was finding things in her old room that were hers that took her back. She then thought of something that could maybe awaken Jack and the others she tries to open her door and its locked.

Sally is finally coming to terms with this, this town was her home she has been gone for so long she was thinking that this was the end of her old life and now her new life was moving forward she was lied to and now she had to move on. But what about Jack she was so confused. It's almost like she had to forget about everything that was Halloween Town that wasn't where she came from...
