The book has kept my interest and has. so far, been a good read. Definitely been 4 stars from beginning to now. Really like it and I'll look for more works by the author.

Now that I've finished my required Parker reading, I'm back to this one. Still going good.

Mark Murray is on page 50 of 293 of Sixkill (Spenser, #39)
It's not easy reading this book. Not because of the story or writing, but because this is Robert B. Parker's last Spenser novel. Last one. I have enjoyed all of them immensely and I'm not on the final one. It isn't easy reading it knowing there will be no more.

Mark Murray is on page 50 of 337 of Ill Wind (Weather Warden, #1)
I like this book and the writing style. Between Rachel Caine, Kim Harrison and Anne Bishop, I like Rachel Caine the best. While I'll pick up another set of books from the above three authors, I'm looking forward to Caine's the most. I'm hoping she doesn't let me down by the end of the book. :)

Mark Murray is on page 152 of 510 of A Fistful of Charms (The Hollows, #4)
So far, an interesting story. It seems to be getting better. The start was great. Then it kind of meandered a bit, but it's starting to take off again.

Interesting characters. I do feel I'm missing some backstory because this book isn't the first in the series, but nothing to take away from this story.

Took awhile, but the book has finally gotten to the point where I want to know how it's going to end.

Okay, this is a hard book to read. I'm on page 124 and I've finally gotten a handle on characters, abilities, realms, etc. Shouldn't have taken this long, though. The story isn't bad, but it's been a chore to get far enough to have it get interesting.

Not sure the exact page because I'm not at home. The book so far has been good. Predictable in a couple of places and surprising in others.

So far, it's not been a bad story. While not my normal kind of story that I read, this one is keeping my interest.

Not my typical book I would read. And when I read that the main character pulls a pin from a grenade with his teeth ... yeesh, I've handled and thrown grenades. No way I could pull the pin with my teeth.
