I’m about halfway through the book. It feels like I’m reading this woman’s justification to keep gossiping. I’m not relating or understanding what the book is supposed to be

There might be good points but this book is bothering me right now - chapter 4. Right now the author is listing out what, as a parent, feels like a frustrating impossible list. Does he really expect society to just change like this? What is the point of this list?

Multiple mispronunciations of chutzpah are irritating me although I’m wondering what the spelling might be in the book

Julie is on page 170 of 400 of Good Energy: The Surprising Connection Between Metabolism and Limitless Health
P.263 this is ridiculous
“If simple habits (like eating Whole Foods, getting enough sleep, practicing regular movement, and managing stress) are so transformational, why do so few people consistently perform them? If these simple actions made people so happy and healthy, why aren’t we all doing them?”
Because they’re not actually simple to execute!!!!

I’ve barely started the book but it sounds like the author is going to solve all medical problems with “good energy”. That’s ridiculous. But I do still believe there are issues and maybe there will be useful hints mixed in with the oversized promises

The relationship in this book is disturbing! Just because you forgive doesn’t mean you have to dance with the person you’re forgiving!!! Just because you’re “ugly” or overweight doesn’t mean you’re evil!! Yuck!
