Alright so I’m deleting goodreads from my phone. It’s sad that this company was sold to Amazon back in 2013. I don’t want to give Amazon anymore money though because fuck Amazon. After I get the decade of data I have from goodreads I’ll remove all of my reviews and stuff so as not to add anymore value to this company. Fuck Amazon and bye goodreads 👋😢🖕

Listening to this in Hindi and happy I can understand 80% on a first listen and on a second listen 90-95% so that’s great even while I’m working for Amazon I can still follow along with what’s going on. This book definitely went in a different direction than I thought.

What I did so far is listen to the first large chunk of it one day (about 40% of the book) then I relistened to that whole chunk the next day

I’m sorry but the fact that bullying is so mainstream in colleges with adults is fucking insane. It’s too upsetting to read that these fucking college aged adults are acting like middleschoolers and professors are ok with it

Wow I listened to 4 hours of this audiobook today! I feel like I’m really getting better at listening to Hindi

Great book so far. Really has changed the way I think about addiction and even has changed the way I look at my regular life too. I pretty much always have a choice whenever it comes to anything. No one forces me to use my time on anything. Even shitty choices like having a job versus couch surfing like yes it’s a shit choice but it still is a choice

Still listening to lots of stuff in Hindi! I’m super happy I’m able to understand this series in Hindi. To make sure that I’m getting everything I will sometimes read the chapter summary before or after listening to a chapter. This confirms the things I heard and if I read the summary in English first then it increases my comprehension in Hindi thus making the input even more valuable. 😊🙌

I took a break from the other book I was listening to in Hindi because a lot of it was going over my head. This seems to be right at my Hindi level though so I’m glad. Having read it before in English of course helps make it more comprehensible

Wow I really don’t understand much at all sometimes on the first listen but then when I listen to the same chapter 3-4 times I understand most of what’s going on. It’s cool how i can go from barely knowing what’s going on to understanding most of what is happening

I’m not fluent in Hindi so I can’t tell but I kind of wonder if this was created with the help of ai or Hindi translators because it seems like there might be some errors in it 🤷‍♂️

I’m reading this one in English/Hindi instead of listening to it to practice reading more in Hindi

Listening to the audiobook for this. I definitely don’t understand a lot of it but I love what I do get. I think I might re read it once I’m done the audiobook version of it is pretty hard to hear it’s just recorded by someone on their phone

Literally all I wanna do is consume media in my non native language. I wish I could get paid for this somehow lol

This book is kind of triggered. Being a helpless kid and not feeling like you have control over yourself or your emotions sucks. Plus having huge life changes happen that you don’t understand and have no say in also sucks. I’m glad I’m an adult now.

I’m also glad I can understand most of this audiobook. I’m honestly surprised I can. It’s free on YouTube if anyone is interested
