I am fascinated by this story. Factual events that read as if a Hollywood scenario. I am so awfully surprised by the tales. I realized that my father was serving in Hawaii during this time frame, and all his life he led us to believe that he was serving in a paradise with no real fear.

Yay! Reading again.

Entertaining, surprising and a little irreverent. Really enjoying reading this book.

I feel as though I am visiting old, very dear friends.

Remarkable.

Not a book to be completed and abandoned.
Sometimes I check in the pages daily, sometimes it takes a week to return for the next lesson.
I won't finish this book, and I hope that I finish my days prior to that.

I am enjoying reading this book. It is a very imaginative perspective of life, and the longer I read, the more I enjoy it. I am already planning to read again.

I am needing to read the book for limited periods of time. It is engrossing, and grossly applicable to current events, 1/6/2021. I admire the candor of the author. She also, as a astute professional, is able to give extremely unique perspective. I trust her voice.

Enjoyable to read, doesn't disappoint if one is looking for an inspiring life...

Fascinating to read, but I stalled...too current, I think. I am following Mary Trump's interviews, and I will finish reading this book in 2021.
