OMG! Anna is such a bitch. Why would Vicky stay friends with her? Easy...Anna held something over Vicky which she never hesitated to bring up every time Vicky dared to challenge her. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Not a great start. A bit uneventful and a little convoluted so far. Normally, if a book I am reading takes this long to get interesting I give up...but I owe it to the author and publishers to give it a go and stick it out given as I received a copy with the intention of reviewing. However I have been assured that while it is slow to start, it does get better. Here's hoping.

I'm so glad I decided to give this book another try. I am loving it, and can't put it down. Only did to feed the dogs, answer the phone when mum called and cook dinner. I'm chanting at the bit to get dinner over with so I can get back to it!

If I didn't need sleep, I'd be reading throughout the night! Intriguing, compelling with a touch of history and touch of mystery! Right up my alley!
