This book is not for the faint of heart. These rabbits really are dealing with a lot of bad stuff. You care for them. Even Bigwig. Now we have Strawberry, who couldn’t take living in the snare warren any longer.

Vin is being told not to trust the elite. Will she be burned by them? Ivec read the series but I don’t renege what happens!!!! Granted, I listened to the series. I hated the narration. There is something about Michael Kramer that is so monotone, they really need to revise the audiobooks with new narrators/voice actors. And Vin truly needs a young woman’s voice.

Something suspicious about this group of rabbits. Healthy but won’t answer “where” questions…. Where are the does???

Saw this recommendation on YouTube. Borrowed from the library, and now I’m on chapter 11 and so much has happened.

Oooooooooh!!!!!!!! Plot twist!!!!! But also, not so much. The plot twist is with the old crone. In the tv show, she seems so devout. But we know her devout nature is due to her desire to bring about justice. Even though she filled out her own and in her own way to the handmaids, she sees the truth and can swing the gavel. Let’s hope her endeavor works.

A coworker let me borrow his books, so now I’m immersive reading this.

It’s difficult to find time to read with my partner and not want to jump ahead, but we are slowly front through this book one chapter at a time, before bed, or during car rides to go camping. He’s not a big reader, but he enjoys the RPG factor to this series, and I think it’s good fun listening to the narrator Jeff Hayes

RIP to my old e reader. I never bought a kindle or a kobo or a tablet. I bout a Barnes and noble Nook, and the last time they sold this model was in 2012. She still works just fine, but the bn store is no longer connected. I need a new e reader, but I’m not a huge e reader person.

Anyone have a kobo? I may get another Nook. Physical buttons, you know?

PLOT TWIST. I take back what I said about Luc.

Luc is a right old DICK. “He won’t even try” Helena cries. Because he is so pious? I get boundaries, but he has NOT ONCE spoken to Helena since Soren died and asked her “Why?” Closemindedness and an unwillingness to understand others is the exact reason why conflict perpetuates. He hates Helena even though she dedicated herself to him.

Now that he’s listening, he’s still not listening. Lalalaaa 🙉

I’m feeling like the writing needs to be…. Scarier for me. I’m not getting “horror”, I’m getting “parody”.

Why does Helen stay with the flames if they treat her so badly? She signed up for this but information is withheld and when she fails a task, it’s still her fault even though she would not have failed if she had been given all the information. She should go to the dark side, since the side she is on is just as malevolent towards her. Except Luc, of course. He’s also being lied to…

Started my re-read on the 20th anniversary of the book’s release!!! Excited to get back in to the world!!!

I like it! spooky ooky! Impregnated by a demon??? Or just blessed by an angel? I can’t tell. I think the premise of entities giving people physical, living babies is the creepiest

This book is long and I’m afraid I may not finish before my loan is returned 😭

Every time I have an update, I realize I’ve only gotten 3 % further into the book. It’s so comical. This thing is a massive book. Ferron doesn’t like when other people are right about him. He does it to himself but if he’s genuine about this trade of information, then at least it’s a twig of an olive branch.

What if her leaving the resistance is the reason Luc fails? Maybe be likes her enough that he thinks they’ll be together after the war? But maybe he also thinks she’s a traitor and doesn’t try to save her? Ferron was not human? Interesting….

Just hit part 2. I’m weird and a part of me is getting antsy. I want to finish the book but I don’t want to finish it. What do we call this antsy excitement? Anticipatory dread? Idk. It’s the same thing as when I don’t want to finish the last book in the series because I don’t want it to end.

A little word they have running water that gets cold from a shower. This is supposed to be in a time when carriages are full popular but for some reason we have water heaters? LOL
