I was starting to lose interest and then the audiobook got funny with all the ravens bickering at one another. I am immersive reading this one. For some reason I could focus on this book while working today. It’s entertaining and the immaturity is at a minimum not that we’re getting to the meat of the story

Why are these characters supposed to be in their early- to mid-30s and they act like immature teens? They act as if they aren’t working for the king. Instead, they seem like annoying, joking young adults barely out of high school…. I’m going to overlook this fact in the book and place them in my head where I think that they are supposed to be emotionally… as if they were like characters in their early 20s.
