Just an amazing book! If there were Justice in the world, Prof Justin McCarthy would have been given an award commensurate with his ability to unearth the despicable facts showing the racism and defamatory propaganda of lies and deceit against Turks. Just a shame that the lies and defamation like the Armenian genocide are rampantly and wildly available to all through Wikipedia but this book’s entirely ignored.

No wonder there’s such an unbelievably strong persistent racism and hate against Turkish people and Turkish culture. It can’t be just explained by the desire to illegally and immorally appropriate lands and riches if the Turks but it’s also the direct result of consistent lies, defamation and racism against the Turkish that led to genocide of the Turks in the Balkans and the Caucasia. If not for Atatürk, …!

Boring book. I am not sure what was so great about the author to become a pulitzer finalist and it’s also not clear if the author is a finalist with this book. The first section is an interesting tale, quite unbelievable and telling a fairy tale about a very intelligent man who became very rich because he inherited a large capital and then became rich in the stock market. Then about his life. Can’t wait to finish

Excellently written, very well research with many notes and references, an illuminating edification into the racialist mind and propaganda against Turkish heritage and identity that is very alive and strongly racist today. Fascinating read and so sad but true

Interesting book that combines teachings of different schools of thought with the author’s personal battle with cancer during Covid-19 and offering a new way of thinking for staying calm, calculated and concentrating on your plans in times of chaos and extreme conditions. Special forces may want to read the book, too!

Brilliant book

Great book. A tad bit too judeo-Christian , whose references will not mean much to those who are not interested, educated, nonchalant, nonbelievers or a combination of the above. Still quite helpful if you know how to rise above those . Only less than 5% is such though and the rest 95%, I found useful
