I’ll be honest. I’m having to slog through this book. Almost quit it tonight. Kapic’s writing is dry, dull and unnecessarily opaque. As an academic, he hasn’t learned to write for his audience.

I can already tell you.. this is a sobering, scary must read. The transgender craze has all the marks of a religion and none of the marks of mental health.

Giving up on this book. One chapter in and it's all "dream something up for God." It's another shallow, man-centered approach to baptizing your ambition in Christianity.

It's peppered more with stories of secular visionaries (Steve Jobs) than it is with scriptural precedent. He uses David's "vision" to build the temple as his premise that we should all dream things up for God. Bad interpretation. Worse application.

Got booked down in chapter on contentment. Not his best. Hard to follow.

I’ve never read a Greg Iles book before. I’ve gotta say, his writing is enjoyable to read. He is a great story teller and takes time with his craft to paint pictures of settings and give insight into characters that immerse you quickly.
