Words/phrases that don’t sit right with me: seam, folds, digit, bundle of nerves…
But otherwise? One of the best romantasy books I’ve read in a minute.

I don’t love the way that Diego has been written so far and I can’t pinpoint why it bothers me. This book has definitely given more spice, and I have spent a lot of time in my cuck chair, trying to visualize things from a logistical standpoint.🤣🤣🥵🤣

Is the writing impeccable? No. Am I still hooked? Yup.

When I tell y’all I went through a VERY similar Apple Watch situation 😫😫😫
We did NOT handle things the same.
I went scorched earth. And I have no regrets.

There’s bits and pieces of this that I like, but I’m struggling to stay engaged. I feel like there are lots of characters important to the story, but I am not invested in them at all. The FMC is likable. I understand that some repetition is needed for world building etc, but it seems like this could be about half as long.

There are very few things that I love more than big words and women…and this author is checking all the boxes. Like, the prose is almost autobiographical for me 🤣

Yeah, this is exactly what one’s first girl crush feels like.

The spicy scenes in this book are not awesome. They’re honestly not even mediocre.

I don’t hate it but can we use something other than “hot” to describe stuff? Also, I’ve seen that some readers don’t buy into these women never getting over their college hookups, and I’m going to assume that these readers never hooked up with women bc that is absolutely a thing. 🤣

Oh, her therapist just read her for filth, and I got caught in the crossfire 😅
