So, it's a light-hearted book with an interesting cast of characters so far, somehow all a little older, only one child so far in the whole town and everyone else is in their 40s-70s.
One thing that really rubbed the wrong way was "Homeless Hobbes". One, that's the character's name and he even refers to himself as Homeless, as if that's his first name. And then he's in a dilapidated old house with meager belongings.
