This is a slow read for good reason: it's one to implement than simply bulldoze through, and I'm enjoying this pace. Chapter 1 left me with so much to think about time and the 'vaults' I've been afforded over the last 41 years of my life.

I'm listening to the audiobook and... whew. I've clutched at my heart a few times already. 😮‍💨

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, having read her other book on self-compassion. I really appreciate the distinction between fierce and tender self-compassion and how there's space for both.

I'm pacing myself through this book, reading max a chapter a day to take the lessons and absorb them into practice.
