Need to set this aside for now. Thoughts are that I need to concentrate more on the science, as there are really two narratives: the unfolding discoveries relating to RNA and the stories of the researchers as they compete and progress in understanding its potential. In the past I would have skipped the science and focused on the human side of the story. That approach doesn't work for me anymore.

My library e-copy disappeared from my kindle, so I am setting it aside for now. Really love the three chapters I was able to read, but vacation got in the way.

There's something about this cover I love. There are five novellas contained in this collection. It will take me awhile to read them all. And I'm glad because the cover is so beautiful, I enjoy seeing it on my Goodreads "currently reading" column. Finished "Ladders of Fire."

I love Kazim Ali's poems, but when I found out he wrote a book on Nin, I knew we were soulmates.

Since I'm reading Ali's analysis, I thought I might read the novellas as I go through his book.

I have no idea when or why I added this to my Kindle, but it's there and I'm reading Graham Nash's autobiography. As soon as he began to describe his childhood in Manchester living in a council house I became engaged in the narrative. It was like seeing the history of post-war England through the eyes of a child, an interesting perspective.

This is both a reference book and anthology of poems. Basically, it presents a poem, then provides a critical analysis that explains where the poem fits both in the author's overall body of work and how it fits into broader literary movements before and after. There are poems from each year starting in 1985 and continuing to 2016. Fascinating for anyone interested in this dynamic period.

Glad that my workload has diminished enough that I don't have to bring as much home and can read a bit in my off hours again!

This book is moving so slowly and the plot is moving forward so incrementally that I am losing patience. It's exquisitely written. The first chapter is exceptional in the way it pulls the reader into the story. There was just enough to make me commit to the novel. All plot elements are introduced and I'm waiting for them to converge. So I picked up my reading speed, though it makes me miss the poetry.
