This book is moving so slowly and the plot is moving forward so incrementally that I am losing patience. It's exquisitely written. The first chapter is exceptional in the way it pulls the reader into the story. There was just enough to make me commit to the novel. All plot elements are introduced and I'm waiting for them to converge. So I picked up my reading speed, though it makes me miss the poetry.
