Working as a librarian means I surpassed my reading goal for the year half way through! I'm doubling my reading challenge from 52 books this year to 104.

Picked this book off of the "New Books" shelf at the library after flipping through and reading a sentence that called Ayn Rand's views "dangerously wrong."

Working on the Great American Reads list from PBS while trying to keep up with my personal TBR and the latest children’s books.

I quit. This book is terrible.

And now I just read a long paragraph where the author compared a woman’s hair to a lava fall and cheering kids on a carousel. It also glows when she reads, incites gasps, and is a kite?? Someone take metaphors away from him immediately.

If I have to read one more description of this old guy's hands, I quit.

I can't stand Noah Shaw. I'm gonna need for him to die a horrific death before I commit to the next book in this series.

So my NOOK copy of this book is only 317 pages but Goodreads doesn't have that edition. There are only 39 pages left and I am not emotionally prepared.
