Maehrer is starting to repeat herself and these read more and more like a fanfic that has gone on for too long, but I need to know how it ends now. This is my curse.

I sure hope the rest of the book changes things for me, otherwise I'm about to commit blasphemy by publicly disliking one the most beloved series in the entire world 😅

I don't know why I always assumed this series was in third person, but even though it's my least favourite pov Hobb makes it a lot more agreeable than most authors.

I was going to start another Scalzi book alongside the Sando one but I had forgotten this came out. Putting everything on hold for Grace Curtis is the only sensible thing to do, I'll only emerge once this has rewired my entire brain

“I threw her the horns, as we called it” has to be one of the cringest lines ever, and there were already plenty of cringeworthy ones before that... I get that Sando doesn't know the metal world hence why he got a musician to co-author the book but it makes no sense at all for the protagonist to overexplain his own universe. This feels too much like Counterculture for Dummies, the rest better be EXCEPTIONAL >.<#
