Irving gets Ezra a cup of tea. Then Ezra "takes a sip of his coffee." Goes back to drinking his tea, then grabs his coffee. Seriously this happens between pages 106 and 113, No one else caught this prior to being published? I know inconsistencies like this don't matter to some folks out there but it drives me insane because it keeps taking me out of the story.

Listening to the audiobook. Why did Ben suddenly start speaking like a baby? Seriously!? He's almost 4 and has sounded almost 4 through the entire book and now he sounds 2!!!! Pulled me right out of the story.
