Liking this more than expected. I’ve heard v mixed things. And yes I’m reading 100 things at once

I’d heard abt this book on insta and picked it up at a used bookstore. Hmm. I dislike when an author so obviously hides the ball, hinting at how mysterious a character is without divulging more. Plot is lagging and I need some zest

Brutal. This book is brutal. The olive oil? It’s giving a less fun version of the secret history combined with some of the poetry of “Less”. Yikes.

Manifesting that I finish this by Friday

The writing is quite choppy…and several things have been mentioned repeatedly 🤨

Kinda choppy sentences but I know the places and some of the characters she mentions. Shoutout Champaign county 🫶
