What’s wrong with me? I’m 19% into the book, LOVING it, and about ready to cry because I know it has to end. 😭

Not loving this. I was super excited to start as it sounded exceptionally interesting. It’s been a dud so far. Some parts are enjoyable and it has great potential, but lacks emotion and additional depth. It doesn’t lack on repetitive statements! IMO: I see the reverse harem for Tess. And it will probably be revealed that her bio dad is different from her sister’s which would explain her mother’s cruelty.

I am so tired of reading the same descriptions over and over. I GET IT!! And I know small town life; some of the statements do not work. I can’t finish this. I adore Ridge, but not so fond of Tori. At page 269, most books have accomplished something in the story-not true with this one. Ugh I’m done. I can’t go any further!! DNF

This might end up a DNF. Not sure I can choke down anymore nonsense. I made it to page 227 with 100 to go; maybe I will pick this up some other time.

Really hope there are no further glaring mistakes within the next 100 pages otherwise I may not finish this book!! I own this book and already know I will NOT be keeping it!! Displeased!!

2)Her back is pressed to his chest. She takes a step back and he steps up to fill the distance between them. *If he is pressed to her back, how can she step back? How is there any space between them?!? Page 134
3)She mentions she doesn’t need protecting because she lives with two vampires. *Now on page 151, he is surprised to hear she has a roommate and is living with someone.

So I’m hating the fact this author can’t keep details straight. 1)Sophie is home, looks thru peephole at Parker before opening the door. Page 103. Later in the book, she has to direct him to her apartment. *He has already been there; he should know how to get back. But yet he asks her if that is her building!! Page 138
