I am HOOKED from chapter one and every single chapter is interesting. No lag! I have been retelling a PG version of this to my 6 year old every day as I read more and he is also hooked and begs for updates!

This book is incredibly frustrating and I have MANY THOUGHTS about it. I find myself violently agreeing with one chapter and then wanting to throw the book out the window after the next chapter! I have bitched about this book and author to my husband ad nauseum.

Just started this, and I'm blown away by the prose. Absolutely incredible writing.

Doing a little re-read of this book. It's been sooo long since I read it that I remember almost nothing. Struggling with momentum and pacing atm.

This book started slow, but it's really picking up now and I'm hooked!

I started reading this last night and it was hard to fall asleep after imagining this creepy person standing stock still in head to toe black robes staring at the bistro! Freaky!

I really like this book but don't pick it up every day. The world is heavy and sad and scary and sometimes I gotta choose the fluff book.
