The author provides so much detail about the process of winemaking, that the reader becomes swept up in the father’s legacy and passion of creating quality wines. This setting offers a window into the challenges of a small, craft winery staying viable in an industry filled with larger corporate winemakers.

Amazing audio book…..the narrator does a wonderful job of reading.

LOVE this book and the protagonist!

Nothing like reading a book whose protagonist is dealing with two teenage boys, to help me feel much better about raising ONE teenage boy! The writing is humorous and authentic. Very moving. Plus the setting is Maine, so this book is definitely in my sweet spot!

Interesting memoir and fun to read....the writer’s voice is definitely engaging.

Well written, but extremely graphic and difficult content. Going to continue reading, but this is definitely opening my eyes to how harsh life was in the early 1900’s for both men and women.

Ughh, don’t know if I’ll make it to the end. This book is really a list of logistics and details of all the fancy resorts these two visited and the fancy over the top meals made for them and all the celebrities that they know. I think Harry and Meghan are much more interesting than a list of where they visited, what they wore and what they ate!

Love it! Great recipes and fun layout.

Completely hooked on the story.
