this is really good & very interesting. it’s just also slightly boring? and i’ve been so busy but we are slowly chipping away

already feeling complex about this Nazi plotline - surely we’re not redeeming Nazis right?? i understand the complex piece of how many were drafted and had little to no choice, but also feels weird for that to become a plot point

i totally understand the central point/message of the book but it doesn’t make it any less depressing and hard to get thru

i’m really enjoying this book!! it’s so cozy and it’s a murder mystery, that’s more like solving a magical puzzle. i just can’t seem to actually find time to READDDDDDDDD

using this book to pull me out of my reading slump. so far it’s enough to keep me reading, but currently not my favorite TJR

these books are the BEST pool/beach reads. and now i’m planning a vacation to Nantucket
