Done with the first book - Stormqueen! It was not good. I found it tedious, scenes were too long and some things were repetitive. Still, I finished it.

It's hard work. Everything happens in slow motion. In that book, I mean. Not exactly a page turner. Wonder about the high ratings. But I still keep on. Reading, that is. There's something else, that doesn't help. It's the narrative. Detached. Story doesn't connect to the reader. Plus, writing style! STORY IS TOLD IN A BARRAGE OF SHORT SENTENCES. Awful, I tell ya. Already know, I won't go for the sequel.

Man, I guess I read LotR one time too many. It's dragging along just like Frodo and Sam on their way to Mount Doom.
Note to myself: Don't read LotR again for the next 10 years at least!

I've sent the eBook "back". It offers no Enhanced Typesetting and has no separation into chapters (therefore also no display of minutes until end of chapter). Such a cheap eBook I am not keeping.
