It's hard work. Everything happens in slow motion. In that book, I mean. Not exactly a page turner. Wonder about the high ratings. But I still keep on. Reading, that is. There's something else, that doesn't help. It's the writing style. Detached. Story doesn't connect to the reader. Plus, writing style! STORY IS TOLD IN A BARRAGE OF SHORT SENTENCES. Awful, I tell ya. Already know, I won't go for the sequel.
