Googled so many words until I found a website that some Swede built as a glossary for Blood Meridian.


Today I learnt there is a unique word for a young male falcon. Calzones are underpants. Sark is a word for "shirt" that's really hard to find the translation for.

Third Cormac book I'm reading and I'm still surprised about his vocabulary - I have to Google so many things only to find out they aren't even English words I don't know but specific things like geological structures or types of water.


Also.. this book is fucked up.

I have started reading this as an e- book twice but I think certain novels aren't meant to be very read that way.

Plato is so far winning every imaginary argument. It's like watching a Sorkin show.
