Hmm, świetna i prześmieszna historia. Emery to naprawdę super postać uwielbiam jej poczucie humoru i jej sarkazm. Podobało mi sie to jak z Callumem się przekomarza poznając jego limity by doprowadzić go do utraty kontroli. Ich związek nabierał fajnego tempa. Jednak po tym jak się ze soba przespali całe flow się zaburzyło na tym etapie rozwoju ich związku to było za szybko.bardziej by tu pasował slow burn.s

UGHH Another mafia romance that is just not for me I guess.
There is nothing in this book so far that makes sense. There are some inconsistencies in the plot, the MCs met several times so far and all they do is stare at each other, I want to know why he hates her so much even though he barely even spoke to her but I just can't read it anymore because nothing is happening!!

Is there somewhere a romance book about the mafia that has a very story plot? I know that romances are mostly character-driven stories but I also want a very strong plot that goes with it, with actions, plot twists, scheming, angst, and suspense.
Is it too much to ask?
I started 5 books and none of them were what I was looking for! :(

I think I lost interest in this series and this mafia world.
Maybe I will come back to it latter

I sort of like it. It's unique because of the setting of the plot which is beautiful Italy.
BUT The FMC is starting to VERY annoy me with her constant desire to run away! AND 37% in the book and nothing changed when it comes to her character. AND this slow pace is just very frustrating! AND unfortunately, I think I know how this book will end and I don't think I like it enough to finish it.

The slow pace is killing me and there's nothing in this beginning to hook me to this story. I read it two days ago and don't even remember much of what I've read.

The FMC is naive and stupid and I don't have patience for her

So far I like it. Although the MFC, Beth, is very judgy, I hope it will change because it's becoming very annoying.

and also beside that this book is hilarious ... I love Atticus ...

I didn't finish it because I got in a MM mood :D but I'll come back to it for sure

On the plus side, I may have changed my mind about Bree. I no longer dislike her as I did at the beginning but because Eason is so dreamy and sweet and amazing and just the perfect guy you can read about, she is ALMOST like a secondary character to me at this point.

Okay so some shocking sh!t came up and it got interesting and emotional and intense ... for like maybe two chapters and then puff "it's going to be okay, we are in this together" and that's it? Yeah, No. I'm a little disappointed with that kind of development.

It's good, very good. And I love Eason ❤️ he is so amazing and my heart is breaking for him. Bree, I understand but I don't like her right now. I just don't like the way she thinks about Eason. I know it's just the beginning and emotions are high, so I'm hoping this will change soon.

I'm a little disappointed. almost 50% behind me and nothing is happening. I knew it was a slow burn but I didn't expect it to apply to the plot as well.

This is only the beginning of this whole series and this story has me in its iron grip. Oh, this is gonna be so so good!!!! I hope ;/
