Story continues to improve the further I get into it. Somewhat predictable but I believe it's meant for a young adult audience so it's an understandable issue and not a flaw.

Incredible book so far. Roughly 100 pages into the 190 page chapter called The Last Battle. It's the culmination of a story I've been reading off and on for over 20 years and re-reading solidly for about a year now.

Things have been wrapping up in preparation for The Last Battle. Some rounding out nicely and others pruned off quickly. Final book arrives tomorrow and I should be starting it as soon as I get it or shortly thereafter.

Into the 'second' book. Still a good read but you don't end a BOOK on a cliffhanger. Book 1 was just the opening of the story and not a complete book in and of itself. Even when the story continues you end a volume of the series at a good closing and not on a "What just happened?" note.

Excellent book so far - still in the first one, I believe.

Coming to like this book more and more. It is aimed at a younger audience but, like Harry Potter, the quality is high enough that adults can enjoy it too.

Now in to unknown territory and with a new writer to boot. So far seems like Jordan.

Odd - remembered minor little items yet completely forgot some big hits in this one.

That last chapter was brutal...

Pace is picking up. Almost done with 'pre-read' books. Next book is all new territory AND all new author as well.
