Oscar Wilde was gay and, apparently so were all his male characters.

The latest chapter finally caught my interest. Still a slow slog - 19th century writing bogs on 21st century eyes.

So Dorian is straight what with the marriage proposal but they're all three still pretty foppish.

Slow reading but interesting enough that I'm sticking with it. Apparently the time period and country affect the style. Seems to share some subtle style with Arthur Conan Doyle even though the two are wildly different writers.
