It’s ok, when it’s not overly bookish.

I’ve had a lot of luck with the Reading Dynamic program. This is the first time I’ve heard Wood described as a scam. Any moron practicing the techniques can easily read several times faster and benefit as a reader. Perhaps this book is written for slow readers to justify their reading slowness?

Idk… quite a bit of tell, not enough show so far…

I was a good 2 hours into this, not sure I could take another 30 some hours on audio…the fact is, when I hear someone say, the fact it, I think… the bs is. Then I pocket dialed and returned the book early to the library. It’s ok, might even buy a paper copy as I liked some of it. Like the silent parts, without the spoken words.

First I heard of these events! Very interesting hearing about Nova Scotia culture and cops. Oddly heartwarming to learn about bumbling police forces. Had no idea Canadian Hells Angels was such a thing…that might deserve it’s own book!

Really great, a tad slow and repeaty… perhaps if Sacklers had a name like Kennedy’s…or Rockerfella…then probably could have pulled this off. Either way, book is like a kick to the jewels.

Really enjoying the book, had to stop midway and return to library. But I’ll get back to it. Gotta let it simmer for a while!

Some people just can tell a great story, make the events sound way more interesting than they were. I wish the events themselves were more interesting.

Ok. I’m 2 plus hours in. It’s a funny dorky guy story, basically…yet narrated by a cool sounding cat. Hmmm…

Eggs is hit or miss with me..,. But lotta good laughs on first 25 pages…think I’ll stick with it.
