100 percent sur it's te same character from the last vampire series. Went over the entirety of the series in a few paragraphs. Liked the character and scenarios more when I was 10.

Remind me quite a bit of his other vampire series in the 90's that I read when I was 9. I just think of it as an extension. In fact I think, if memory serves right, he has used the name Sita and yaksha in that last series.

Slow start, but the story is finally coming to a good pace.

Was relatively slow in the beginning, but I'm glad I followed through, the story and characters are starting to warm and become more complex.

I am beginning to see that the main character never grew up. He is in much the same level as Lolita, except he is teaching her sexual bargaining, and she is only 12. He's already given her the talk where he makes her feel like he is her only hope of living a normal life, and if anyone else knew their secret, she would regret it deeply. Such a sad aspect of the tale, I don't know how anyone could find this fetching.

I think one of the main points a reader should follow while trudging through this book is H.H.'s pride in deception. In the asylum he took pride in misleading the faculty away from his real sexual desires, and labeling him a homosexual. He took pride is manipulating his doctor into giving him stronger and stronger sleeping pills in order to drug mother and daughter for his own

Well... I might as well finish it...

This twist on a prude Victorian society has truant gained my interest.
