I've heard so much talk of the morning pages in discussion with this book but somehow this is my first time hearing about the artist date? Giving me tingles thinking about it

"he's avoiding eye contact. He's taken my joke too literally. He's being awkwardly quiet. He's got terrible manners" leave this autistic man alone with his writing oh god 🤣

I'm definitely interpreting Hayden as autistic and the female protagonist as someone meeting an autistic person for the first time

Kind of crazy that this is written by a woman. It feels like such a male lens. So much nipple talk somehow

Something clicked around page 100 and now this book is all I think about. I dont want to be working, I want to be reading this

This time reading it for real! Ignore the past year and a half on the currently reading. That was just a trial run

I understand the Russian thing is much more an aesthetic than anything else in the context of gay hockey but to have Ilya come out saying "I love my country" without acknowledging the Ukraine and Putin of it all ever in this book.... is a choice 😅

Tough commute read. Set it down this morning and picking up where I left off. First sentence "Shane could feel it, the much-too-large blunt head of Rozanov's cock bumping against his hole". Right into it then I guess 😂

Been reading this so slowly because I actually now care for these characters so much the idea of finishing the series is upsetting. Sweet Gregor and Lizzie and Ripred and Ares and Luxa. I can't believe we only have 100 pages left together

So glad im audiobooking this one. Love everytime they call a car a "hroodoodoo"

Also love how much "the science guides her", but then a page later her counterarguement to "fasting decreases muscle" is just "I strongly disagree" 😅

Started talking this seriously again for a second then got hit with her binge food being dried mangos and dried fruit being too high in sugar... Girl live a little

This was already losing me, but girl... BMI as a health measurement? 😂

So to summarise

-if you get hangry and get brain fog and lethargy then its a sign you need a metabolic reset

-but if you get bloated get brain fog lethargy, diarrhea and constipation while fasting, then that means it's working to clear your toxin pathways. Keep going!

... Right 😒

Some people I trust gave this good reviews and I'm curious because it feels like all my guy friends are obsessed with fasting so going into this open minded and curious about the information... But chapter 1 is reading so hard like a weight loss pill sales pitch 😅 trying to keep an open mind but alarm bells ringing

My turn at the library is ending so have to give this back but hoping to come back to it

Library hold is up! Didn't think I'd live to see the day

"her hair was pink. Yes... Pink" god, shut uuuup

The audiobook narrators choices for voices are kind of rough. It's all so... Dude 😂

Am I feeling another crime book right after the last one? Not really, but the library holds dictate the schedule

Incredibly funny that Elphaba's first word is "horrors" 😂

Was not prepared for Gayelette (what a name) to groom this poor boy

Take a shot for every "winnowed"

I kind of rly badly wanna dnf this, but this the one where every fan swears it gets good so I'm trying to stick it out

"I forgot how comfortable jeans are", crazy statement. Crazier even coming from the character who so far has been living in nightgowns

Idk how I feel about first person unreliable narrators. Isn't the idea we were inside Trisha's thoughts the entire book? Why would Trisha be lying to herself the entire time? Dk doesn't quite work for a reveal I don't think

Really struggling to take this blackmail seriously. Am I crazy or is "getting caught slashing a strangers tyres" not that life changing? Yeah you'll probably make less sales but... Grow up?? Face the music? No sympathy, I'm tired of taking this seriously
