In the book, Cracker, there are both a hero and an anti-hero. I think that the hero in this book is both Cracker and Rick. The reason that they are both the hero's is not only because they are both the main characters, but because they both have done great things through out the book like Cracker would find booby traps and Rick would read her and would alert his general and they would fine the booby trap.

I am going to compare the main character from the book Cracker and the book The River. The main character from Cracker is named Rick and the main character from the book The River is named Brian. The difference between the characters is that they acted both in different ways and the reason for that is because of the environment that they were in. Rick was in the war and Brian was stranded on an island.

I am reading that book,"The River," and choose to make a connection between me and one of the two characters, Brian. I have been talking about him from previous books I think that we are a like. The reason that chose to use Brian is about the same age as me and he is a very outdoors man like I am. Though I would not like to survive like he did I love to be in the woods and outside. We have some things in common.

Since the book I am reading is a different version of the Hatchet and instead of taking a character from the book I am going to take the main character, Brian, and take something that I don't lie about one of their characteristics. I chose to not like how he always wants to fight back and he can be a dummy when it comes to animals. Based on the book there was a time there was a bear that came near and he kicked it.
