Since the book I am reading is a different version of the Hatchet and instead of taking a character from the book I am going to take the main character, Brian, and take something that I don't lie about one of their characteristics. I chose to not like how he always wants to fight back and he can be a dummy when it comes to animals. Based on the book there was a time there was a bear that came near and he kicked it.

From what I have read from this book and what I know about the previous book I think the theme is survival. The reason that I think the theme is survival is because back to the Hatchet book that was the main part of the book and this book is the something except something different happens than the hatchet. Lastly the theme I think would be survival is because mostly everyone one can relate to that.
